Baby Storytime

I started my very first round of baby storytimes this past month. I was really nervous! But I think it went well. Going forward, I will also have more tickles and wiggles.

We opened with a new (to me) opening song. I like getting to know everyone’s names especially since registration is required for baby storytimes and once you register for one, you’re registered for all. So, hopefully, I will have the same babies every week.

Opening Song:

“Good Morning to You”

Good morning to you (clap)

Good morning to you (clap)

Good morning dear, ________

Good morning to you (clap)

Action Rhyme:

“Open Them Shut Them”

Open them, shut them.

Open them, shut them.

Give a little clap, clap, clap,

And put them in your lap, lap, lap.

repeated a few times

“Five Little Ducks”

Five little ducks went out one day, over the hill and far away

Mamma Duck said “quack, quack, quack,”

But only four little ducks came back.

…..

4,3,2,1 until no little ducks

…..

Sad Mamma Duck went out one day, over the hill and far away,

Mamma Duck said “quack, quack, quack”

And five little ducks came back!
